WEEK 2: ESSAY WRITING

Those are the links to writing labs online that I have found to study and practice essay writing:

When writing essays, I find it difficult getting started. Sometimes, when a topic is given to me, I have a thousand ideas of which I have to discard many of them because of the short space and time that I am given. But there are other cases in which I cannot think of any idea. This makes me lose time and it also makes me nervous.
Another problem that I usually find when writing an essay is that, when I write quickly, I make mistakes in the articles and in some verbs. Sometimes I write “Laura have" or "she" when I am referring to a man. I know how to write it correctly, but I do not notice it, and sometimes I do not have time to calmly review and modify it.

This week I practiced my English watching some films in English with subtitles. I watched Wuthering Heights (1970), 300 (2006), and Mrs Dalloway (1997). I also read some articles about Jane Eyre to prepare my TFG.
