WEEK 3: IN MY VIEW. To go or not to go vegetarian?
The trending topic I would like to discuss is to go or not to go vegetarian/vegan.
These days, being vegetarian or vegan is a controversial topic within society. There is a wide range of vegetarians: the ones who do not eat meat, the ones who do not eat either meat or fish, or the ones who do not eat dairy or eggs, among others. The reasons why people make the choice to stop taking them are multiple: religion, economy, health, ethical and moral values, or even familiar customs.
Although I am carnivorous, I had a time in my life in which I became vegetarian. I am very fond of vegetables, legumes and fruits. Notwithstanding, I decided to return to my former life since I could not live without meat and, besides, I realised I was running out of fat in my body. Therefore, we should raise awareness that giving up some food could be detrimental to our health. The diet we choose for our life is fundamental to be healthy and to have enough strength and energy to carry out our daily activities, both physical and mental.
From my point of view, eating or not eating meat, fish, dairy or eggs, going or not going vegetarian or vegan depends on many factors in relation to the person's life. As long as you have a varied and healthy diet as well as a sports lifestyle, it is not relevant if you eat one things or another. Thus, we should not judge other people's decisions. I consider that every person knows herself/himself sufficiently to notice what is good or bad to her/his body. Even though we are not always going to see eye to eye on others' choices, we should respect every one way of living.
These are some of the websites where the infinitive is explained:

Today I have been doing a video call via Skype with some Mancunian friends. They have invited me to visit them in Manchester, so I have booked a flight in April and I am buzzin'.
