WEEK 8: NARRATIVE ESSAY WRITING

 In these websites we can see very well the process to follow in order to make a good narrative essay. First we have the prewriting process very well explained, which is the first thing we need to face in order to write a narrative essay. Then, these websites also explain how to make a good draft and how to review and edit this draft to be able to write the final version of the narrative essay.

To summarize, the narrative essay:
  • is told from a particular point of view
  • makes and supports a point
  • is filled with precise detail
  • uses vivid verbs and modifiers
  • uses conflict and sequence as does any story
  • may use dialogue
A discursive essay writing differs from a narrative essay writing in many aspects, for example, the discursive essay is written in a more informal way than the narrative one.

These week I read Flaubert's Parrot by Julian Barnes in order to write an essay about it. I also read more articles for my TFG.

WEEK 13: DESCRIPTIVE ESSAYS
