The number of languages spoken in the world is constantly changing. This occurs because they are in accordance with the world, which is in constant movement as well. Nowadays, we can find a myriad of languages that are spoken across the world, roughly 6912, without taking into account the innumerable dialectal and spoken languages and death languages. I have always been very keen on learning a widely spoken language such as Arabic or Chinese. However, today I have a predilection for learning less well-known languages like Norwegian or Danish. There is a discussion that has been active for many years, and it is whether we must teach children a second language at the same time as the first one or wait for them to strengthen their mother tongue first. My parents only taught me one language (Spanish) when I was little, and now, every time I meet someone who speaks perfectly two languages ​​because their parents taught them both languages, ​​I feel envious. Nowadays, I speak Spanish, English and Italian, but last year I started learning Russian. Despite all the languages that can be found in the world, I would love to continue learning Russian because I had a really great time learning it in my Erasmus. It is said that is a very difficult language to learn because of its alphabet, which is completely different from ours. However, I found it easy, and next year I am going to take lessons in order to improve and get a B1 level. In my opinion, it is a language that can be learnt by anyone with patience and practice.
